There are pictures emerging of what I will describe as

outward force puncturing through the plane.

Those puncture marks have been spotted a few days I thought? Quite possibly evidence of a bomb, or could also be an non-bomb explosive in the hold or even possibly the result of a catastrophic fan blade failure.

The holes you see are the classic mark of a round object passing through the skin from the inside out - it could be a bullet or say a ball bearing which are often used in bombs.

Or debris from inside a plane being blown into the outer shell such as seating and various other bits that are inside an aircraft. I'm just playing Devils Advocate here, I do suspect it was most likely a bomb, but it's important to not to draw conclusions based on seems most obvious, especially when there has been such a tragic loss of life. There have been several ai crashes in the past with similar 'explosion' marks which turned out not to be a bomb.

Just been reading the Russian cargo plane that crashed, was not

Authorised to carry passenger's,makes you wonder if the crew

Took a back hander, and took a risk to make a bit of money.

The aircraft in question had a 15.5ton limit, and by coincidence

The exact weight of the cargo was 15.5ton,add an extra 12

Passengers, lets say an extra 650-700kg,so by my reckoning

The aircraft was either out of trim,or the zero fuel was

Incorrect,or another possibilty is the wrong weights of the

Cargo was passed, whatever caused the accident one thing is

For sure another 12 innocent people lost there lives

Unnecessarily

The thing that has annoyed me is that there's a theory that it was a member of airport staff who sneaked a bomb on board which is completely reprehensible.

But there's loads of tourists who keep complaining about various times they were able to bribe airport staff to queue jump or get upgrades and they are annoyed that someone might have been bribed to take a bomb aboard. So you're angry at someone taking a bribe, even though you were part of the problem by providing the bribes? Granted a queue jump and a bomb are miles apart, but it's like someone complaining about drug dealing when they are buying the drugs!

Seems to be a lot of confusion with what is actually happening in Sharm, latest on the BBC news channel is that Egyptian authorities are only allowing 8 British aircraft into Sharm today to collect stranded tourists.

Egypt 'Rescue Flight' Diverted In Mid-Air

A "rescue flight" due to bring back stranded British tourists from Sharm el Sheikh has been diverted on its way to Egypt.

The Thomas Cook jet made a sudden turn over Albania and appeared to be heading back towards the UK.

According to flight radar most flights are being refused landing permission at SSH and are diverting to Cairo, Cyprus or Crete.

I see Putin has now stopped all flights to Egypt until the cause of the crash has been established, also Belgium has advised against travel to Egypt and Turkey has suspended all flights for now.

By the looks of it other European countries will follow the uk and Russia in suspending flights according to the guardian .

What a farce, and such a fantastic way to ensure 'repeat business' from the tourists stuck in the resort/airport i.e when choosing your next holiday, maybe Spain is a safer bet.

Sadly for them repeat business is unlikely in the medium term as with Tunisia ,tourists will just go elsewhere ...

Anyone know where the Thomas Cook Boeing 757 has been diverted? It was in Albanian airspace when it diverted. Sounds like a right shambles of an operation!!
