Interesting little temperature anomaly up here in Leeds, on a very dull 10*C (confirmed by airport weather station) despite 17*C and 14*C predicted by GFS and Met Office respectively. Any idea what would normally cause such an anomaly?

Today was the only day which actually resembled the typical Derry Summer, blue-sky and 19C, I believe it was because of the Jet-Stream, letting the Azores High settle us. (copied and pasted twice)

I cannot recall a day in August being this sunny.
