I'm almost sure that the last time I watched Benfica play United, Eusebio (sp?) hit the bar and Bobby Charlton scored with a glancing header?:oops:

What a shame it is that, during a fantastic week for English football (on the pitch) this saga is still rumbling on: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41673969 ? I do sometimes wonder just what it is that makes so many footy-folks talk such complete and utter shiite?:fool:

If he came off the line any further he would have taking the ball of the pen spot. Kick should have been retaken.

'Real Madrid's stuttering season sets up Tottenham for a memorable Champions League night at Wembley'  (Evening Standard).  Now is the time to show us what you can do, Spurs.  A win at Wembley today will make up for the recent dismal performances against ManU and West Ham (well, it'll help us get over them anyway).....  Frankly, anything other than a win is unacceptable if we are to build on a reasonable start to the season (before last week that is).  I don't even want to think about the consequences of losing.   COYS!

Chelsea's defending last night was like the CPU players on FIFA, comical!

I'm hoping that we'll not see Comical Alli tonight...a nil-nil draw would do me.:good:

Hope that Alderweireld's injury isn't long-term. But, as we're winning - :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:
