Constant thunder here. Rain getting heavier. But not all that dark strangely.

That clump on the S coast could give the W country and W Midlands a hammering later.

True, perhaps parts of Wales more likely.

In fact may miss most of W country and head straight to Wales

We just need something forming 20-50 miles east of the current storms on the south coast and all southern england and midlands would have great show!

Heard the first rumble from this cell on its way to me... Loud one too, been quiet for a couple minutes though... Potentially first storm of the summer at home if it carries on my way!

Great tip for days like this. Just been sunbathing outside with a cold drink. If you stick Greek radio on it really feels like you're on holiday! I can only imagine what the hell the neighbours thought I was doing.

Hoping that a second surge later this evening produces something :) Just got to keep eye on radars etc

Wow.. that thunder is continuous. Never heard anything like it. Just constant droning. Shame it's literally skirting by here a few miles east - such is the way I suppose.

Double pileus cap on the cell over Sheffield seen from here, going up like a rocket.

Just watching that one to my east.... Hopefully an evening to watch some lightening.....

That cell heading into South Somerset as just invigorated on its eastern flank meaning I may just get in on the action now.

Bristol channel coasts look in line for it's centre.
