Clear spells overnight, cooler than of late. Bright, very hazy sunshine this morning. The high level cloud gradually moved away allowing sunny spells, turning warm by afternoon.

I decided today to have a look at the famous snow and ice charts that we normally don't see much of outside winter.

 

Strangely between 2014 and 2015 there seems to be a much more widespread holding of ice, I am no expert but I didn't expect to see that with the overall warmer summer we seem to have this year.
