Looks like the storm lost it's mojo.

Meanwhile back here,looks a bit rough,storm approaching from the west(left of the cam).

Managed to capture a shot,did anyone see that fork in front of the cam earlier.

Looks like a nice bolt, didn't see it unfortunately. I'm just watching back that storm in Milan.

Saw about at least 10 strikes on lightningmaps.org at the same time a minute ago. Wonder if it was this.

Sorry for the non prompt response,got finger over print screen for capturing

It was a lot more active earlier,but these IC strikes sometimes don't detect on lightning maps,the storm looks to of died off now though

I was there torrential rain very frequent lightening and thunder was booming rocking the restaurant we were in... was quite refreshing from the heat....

Wow... Estofex's wording in their forecast for today is concerning... 'It's not a question of IF convection occurs, it's a matter of WHEN'. Looks like Venice is the best place for storm watching! Many high quality live cams available on Youtube and online!

Found this live cam in Caorle. There are loads of webcams around the Venice area although they all point to the beach.

I am hoping that tomorrow that risk can just inch a hundred miles further south as I will be in NW Croatia. There is an orange warning from meteoalarm for thunderstorms so fingers crossed.
