Yes. Frustrating that the cam only goes to where they seem to start! Looks as if it could head up past Leszno towards poznan after Wroclaw, or maybe take a more right turn if it becomes supercellular/more severe

That storm looks utterly brutal! Abundant hail in there and yes those winds looked violent!

Here's a cam for Warsaw, just in case the storms hit there :)

Yep, looks to have taken a more defined turn to the right. Wouldn't be surprised if this is now a bow echo. Certainly looked like it had damaging winds with it. The clouds on the Wroclaw cam were moving very fast in all directions too. Noticed the winds looked to be an inflow at the start, surging in towards the storm.

It's sure kicking out a hell of a rate of strikes now as it heads NE. Warsaw could get very lively later this evening.

I love this: sitting in, relaxing, and watching the anticipation build as the storms get closer.

I thought ESTOFEX said it would move and expand northwards... but it seems to be taking more of a NW track.

Going bonkers that storm now!!

Yes, their thoughts were for it to move due north. But it seems that the whole thing now is moving NE. As I said earlier, it might swerve NE if it becomes more severe, which it certainly looks to have done.

Silly question, but is nocturnal cooling slowly intensifying it? (its now producing >300 strikes a min!)

It could be playing some effect, or it might be because the cloud tops are getting higher. Estofex has said earlier in its new mesoscale discussion noting this storm, that CAPE to the east of it is in excess of 3000j/kg with strong wind shear to boot + frontogenesis!

That is pretty much perfect ingredients for a severe storm.

Hopefully its stays at the same intensity or maybe stronger, but obviously hope everyone stays safe over there too :)

I'm not too sure about Warsaw now, as it seems to have taken the core further north, what do you think?
