We were woken up by what became big storms at 0400 this morning. They went on for nearly two hours - great excuse for a Sunday lie in!

Took a picture of a cumulonimbus forming in the distance about an hour ago. You can make it the pileus cloud on top of it too.

Been a few strikes between north majorca and menorca, did you see any distant action?

It maybe worth watching the Milan skyline cam soon,storm heading in from the SSW.

The Milan storm is doing a right mover but you can see the flashes on the cam i posted above.

I stayed in Alcudia many moons ago. Was treated to a number of different displays, from overhead storms with close lightning strikes to distant, silent light shows over the sea. This was in August mind.

Looks like the storms in the SW are just slightly going to miss me. Just hoping that another one develops near me.

Just had another little storm. This one produced 4 lightning strikes and there was only one close strike.

I have found that webcam that i was on about earlier,it is located south of you and i cam see some flashes in the distance when it's pointing south-ish
