Thought I would post this in here, unfortunately this lighting strike caused the death of several hikers.

But I have never heard thunder like it

Going bang big style here. Took about an hour's worth of footage then went back inside and was drifting off to sleep again when Round 2 woke me from my near-slumber with an almighty noise, I might have another look outside.

Got woken up again this morning by really loud thunder (that hardly ever happens).

There's another storm warning valid from 2pm today all the way to 8pm tomorrow.

I think that storm over Barcelona produced a microburst. This webcam is showing some really heavy rain, close lightning strikes and the camera is shaking violently.
