hmm don't know which way it's facing but it's not showing anything despite the frequency of strikes according to lightningmaps

The cam is viewing in between two storms, should see the main one aproach from the left of the cam shortly, trying to find a cam on Menorca at the moment.

Strange though there's not been any almost off screen flares with that amount of activity!

Probably impeded by the mountains to the North still too. I’ve actually been there whilst this same thing is happening lol

I can remember being in Ibiza -  we thought we were seeing car headlights coming down one of the mountains. Nope!

Gonna get quite lively there soon. How I wish I was there. Very early in the year too. This activity normally starts around September time.

Looks to be mainly IC based this one, normally on the back edge gives the CG’s when it goes over and exits, the playa de Muro cam should be a good watch. Saw a couple of distant CG’s on the menorca cell a while ago.

Can only imagine how it sounds. Know someone who’s out in Majorca now, so I should hear all about it I’d imagine!!

Looks as if activity may be waning somewhat. But there’s yet another beast in development off the costa brava coastline waiting to possibly cross to Ibiza or possibly Palma within the next hour or so!

Ibiza at the end of September for me should be an interesting stay hopefully!

Looks to have backbuilt, but I’d say slow eastward advection should take place. Storms out there can be more unpredictable than here I find, and can crop up very rapidly out of nowhere.

Can’t get onto that one! I’m seeing some anvil crawlers now over there though! What a night for people in Majorca/menorca, bet they didn’t see that one coming in early August, normally the driest time there!!
