A mild and cloudy night after a brief shower yesterday evening.  Light-moderate drizzle since 0645 g.m.t and the cloud base sitting around 370 m but it's just beginning to show signs of lifting.

Just had an absolutely torrential downpour which lasted about 20 minutes. Then the rain, instead of tapering off just stopped instantly, like a tap being turned off.

This summer is starting to really irritate now.

A cloudy morning, with little wind and remaing dry. During the afternoon the cloud broke up giving good sunny spells, and by early evening there was little cloud.
