Not a cloud in the sky at 7am but since then cloud has slowly increased now complete cloud cover

Yesterday.

 

Warm, variable cloud overnight, cloud clearing through the early hours allowing a sunny start. Clouding over quickly this morning with a light shower of drizzle just before observation, cloud breaking again at reading time. A good deal of cloud at time, though bright and some sunny spells , feeling warm despite a fresh westerly wind.

I thought this month was August! In fact after checking there was no Tuesday 4th July, as it was Saturday.

 

Anyway, a cloudy day with blustery winds upto 20MPH, and only a glimpse of sun mid afternoon.

A mainly dry and cloudy morning, just one or two very brief and light showers. There was a temporary breaking of the cloud sheet during mid-afternoon allowing some sunny intervals but further light showers followed by late afternoon and some of these became moderate-heavy after 1700 g.m.t.
