Dry and still quite bright as the sun shines through various upper cloud layers, still a few gaps to give direct sunshine at times, a low of 6.9C making it the coldest night since 15 June

A dry, cool and mainly clear night with very little breeze and then high level cloud increasing from the west before dawn.

Sunny intervals early this morning but now there's a complete cover of As with occasional intervals of very weak sunshine.

Clear spells last night allowed the temperature to fall quickly. Increasing cloud after midnight prevented a continued fall. A few bright spells early this morning, mid level cloud thickening, suns disc visible through a layer of Altostratus, light rain just commencing at observation.

Maximum temperature to 18:00 GMT yesterday: 20.4°C

Minimum temperature overnight 8.5°C

24-hour maximum 20.4°C

24-hour minimum: 8.5°C

Minimum temperature on grass: 4.9°C

Maximum wind gust: (Midnight to Midnight) 16.3mph WNW

Rainfall total: tr.mm

8 Oktas Altostratus, Stratus fractus.

Visibility good, around 10 miles.

Temperature: 14.0°C

Humidity: 75.6%

Wind Direction: Force 3 SSE

Yesterday.

 

Intermittent light to moderate rain continued last evening, eventually clearing after midnight. Sunny start this morning. A line of shower cumulus near the SW horizon. Sunny spells continuing, staying dry here, pleasant in the sun, feeling cool in a brisk westerly wind.

Cold and windy with rain on and off.  Currently only 12.2 deg C, which must be the coldest July lunchtime temperature here for many years.

A brief sunny start before clouding over during the morning with moderate rain moving in this afternoon. The min temp last night was the lowest here in July in 36 years of records.

 

Max Temp: 17.7C

Min Temp: 6.8C

Mean Wind: 8mph SE

Max Gust: 14mph

Sunshine: 4.4hrs

Rainfall: 4.2mm (so far)

 

Currently overcast and rather miserable with moderate rain and a temp of just 13.2C.

A cold dry start with some sunshine,then clouding with light rain at lunch and much of the afternoon easing at the moment,max 15 deg,min 7 deg.To note the maximum was briefly before lunch as the afternoon failed to get above 13 deg.

A dry and part cloudy morning with some sunny spells, making it feel quite warm. By mid day the cloud cover was full and it started to rain, making feel quite cool.

So it was like having 2 seasons in 1 day!

A dry start to the morning but rain and drizzle arrived by about 0930 g.m.t and continued for the rest of the day. Hill fog developed by late afternoon and became thick by early evening.

Cold, overcast and windy most of the day with moderate rain in the morning becoming lighter and patchier during the afternoon.  Brief sunny intervals early evening then another spell of rain.  Maximum 16.7, minimum 11.5.  Wind fresh SW.
