Unseasonably cold, temperatures around 14-16C, three degrees under the seasonal average.

The day started cold and dry, then throughout the morning light showers began and the winds picked up to 20-30 miles per hour, more persistent rain started to fall and gusts of 40 miles per hour, during the even cloud had started to fade away with thin stratus clouds remaining.
