20 years ago....thunderstorms.

Thunderstorms broke out especially in the south and west on 10th July and 11th July 1995. I remember the morning of the 11th with a thunderstorm and some good strikes. This cleared then we had a hot humid sunny interval during the late morning to mid afternoon, when another thunderstorm rumbled through during the late afternoon rush hour.

Remember this well! I was living in Blackley in North Manchester at the time. Storms were a bit lively to say the least!

Those were the days, that was an amazing night. Lightning non stop from 6pm to 3am, following a hot Monday with temps near 30C. We just can't seem to get them anymore......

There were also some brilliant storms in the Southwest and West Country on the 26th after heat rose during the preceding days.
