After expecting a wet morning and improved afternoon we had early dampness then some warm sunshine followed by heavy showery rain since around 16.00 which has made this the wettest 24 hour period since 18th-19th May!

At 'only' 12.5mm so far it does show how little rain there has been in recent times.

Was hoping for some decent rain to top up the pond but just 1.2mm today. 7mm for the month.

Ugh, such dismal weather - the worst possible kind at any time of year. Oh, and it's from a southwesterly...

Steady moderate rain all day with the occasional heavier burst truly nasty although I did notice it wasn't so bad when I drove down off hills int town earlier.

Days like this where rain is light and drizzly it doesn't pay to live high up  :nonono:

Miserable, overcast but no rain at all through daylight hours.

There was something of a streamer going for most of the night with 3.5mm in my gauge this morning.

Thankfully a considerably improved day today with some brief sunshine and dry so far albeit with invizdriz in the air from time to time as thicker Stratocumulus moves over.

Been raining again steadily since around 3pm a mix of heavy drizzle and persistent light rain.

What happened to the rain/drizzle?  Absolutely zilch here again so far.

Passed us by without a drop, too. So much for these "rain" forecasts!

The worst day so far this week with total low cloud cover, hill fog and persistent light rain rather than on and off drizzle. The temperature has actually dropped to 15.7c after being 17.4c at 06.00!
