Pretty sure we've by-passed summer and gone straight to autumn. Be snowing next.......every cloud and all that.

Didn't Andy mention that he was in Polperro earlier this week? He'll be down at Talland Bay, mixing it up with Richard & Judy. :D

Not too bad today, passable for a September day with lengthy spells of sunshine, semi-convective cumulus through the afternoon and a cool breeze. Should be nice tomorrow.

I'm really hoping next Tuesday doesn't pan out how N-W seems to reckon it will. I need a warm, dry evening to have a family dinner outside on the patio (we don't have enough room in the house lol). It would be typical that it rains just on that evening.

I'll have to check but possibly the coldest july night I've ever recorded last night with a minimum of 7C. Sparkling morning now though.

Still praying for good weather next Tuesday!

An overnight low here of 6.3C, whoa that's a bit nippy for July..

Where's my colleague from the microclimate today?

Hello all.

I'm in your neck of the woods this weekend. Very near William in fact. Feels much hotter than the temperature suggests.

Has Mapantz deserted us or is he on holiday?

South Newington in Oxfordshire fell to 1.1C last night. Mentioned on the BBC1 10:35pm forecast as the coldest July night in southern England on record. Amazing how we started the month with the highest on record and now we end it on the lowest.

A fine morning with a lot of Ci some from the spreading out of contrails, Temp 13C and a southerly breeze.

EDIT

Ci thickening and strands of Ac appearing.

Back home in misty though humid and brightening Warminster after a fun week in Polperro and the surrounds, great days out to Cotehele, the Bodmin & Wenford Railway, St Michaels Mount then Lizard, Lanhydrock, a stunning beach at Lansallos and lots of chilling out (sometimes literally!) at Polperro harbour.

We went from wild and wet last Sunday to clear hot sunshine by Friday, so saw the full range of how the conditions affect the Cornish coastline and moors! Thanks to Knocker for your help with forecasting.

Now onto all the washing! How do women wear so many clothes in a week? Lol.
