This seems to be happening a lot too...

 

That's an issue with how some phones deal with orientation after the pic is taken. The EXIF data sometimes doesn't get read properly, so uploading to many sites (not just this one) will cause it to be sideways or upside down.

Storm just kicked off west of here,hope it holds off until i pick youngen up from school @3pm.

 

If your quick it should hold off just long enough.. thats if it doesn't veer to your North.

me to, very slow and keep on failing... even the rain radars lightning radar isn't working well for me. http://www.lightningmaps.org/realtime seems to be ok right now though..

Ok, Blackberry..  If you're taking a picture in landscape mode (sideways) make sure the top of the phone is to your left. If it is to the right, the EXIF data will mark the orientation as upside down, your phone will show it the right way up, until you upload it to a site.

If it still doesn't work, you'll have to put the picture on your laptop/pc, rotate it, save it, then upload it.

 

Just to be clear, it's not a bug on this forum. :)

Back on http://www.lightningmaps.org/realtime yay,also,my other half is picking up the youngen. :D

Showers developing pretty quickly and intensifying rapidly..... Very heavy rain then hail a few flashes of lightening with loud rolling booms and temp drop from 19c to 10c.....

very lovely skies today, pics are around 10 mins apart, definately quickly rising, the base went really dark, might be something brewing for you lucky few to the north-east of me :):D  :give_rose:

There seems to be alot less thundery showers now.. Most of them drifting into the North Sea.. some of those storms would have been alot more appreciated over Norfolk!
