Line now seems to be forming from Worcester to Wolverhampton, wouldn't be suprised to see that start to spark soon.

I think those were the ones forecast yesterday to give some activity.

Watching the development on the Southern End of the storms crossing Peterborough.. They look to be giving some heavy downpours for some people. 


Update on last comment: The storms are heading in my direction.. Thunder maybe? The whole northern section seems to be developing quickly now.

had a very heavy downpour here aroud 20 mins or so ago, no thunder but rain was really heavy, lovely looking skies, was driving otherwise i could have got a few lovely pics xx

I've been focusing on the storms crossing England today, but I just noticed how heavy some of the showers are in Northern Ireland and Scotland.

It most definitely did. Not had this much rain in ages.

Sorry mate, but I'm in sunnyhunny at the mo, it rained hard for about 3 minutes. 43mm is over an inch and a half. Where are you getting this ob from? If there was 43mm in 3 minutes then I'd be swimming down Greevegate.

Yeah just had thunder but the lightning activity is to the north of here.
