Rapid intensification across N Cheshire and into Manchester. Nothing around Derby though, as the south of the band looks to be fizzling.

Showers over Wales will give us in the Midlands another shot, although not looking very potent currently.

That storm to the south of me has decayed.

Storm Scanner does show upcoming storms for Midlanders though.

Just got back home, the power was taken out for around 10 mins by close strikes.

And I felt the static from a close CG, which my lightning trigger managed to capture.

Whats that line in the photo, that beam of light also appeared very clear on a night picture I captured from a video I recorded on my phone on early Saturday from Friday nights storm.

Had a good few bright flashes and rumbles, now just moderate rain. Lightning seems to have stopped completely.

Nout here in Bucks yet, I'm too far east presently.

BTW - will be uploading my footage of Friday night's amazing storms at some point today. Admittedly, a lot of the strikes are in the distance, but I've done a lot of editing so there's no long blank stretches.

Got two CG's recorded but rest is just flashing or in-cloud flickering. I was only filming for a total of about 13 minutes, and the lightning strikes were 1-2 hours here, so I missed a lot of other CG's I'm sure.

Very limited activity in the North. Elsewhere nothing.

Northerly winds by midweek - no storms for a while after this.

Need the cell to the south west to get some energy.  Looks lively rain wise but nothing else at the moment. AS I type the first one from it. Needless to say Chezweather will sap all the energy after slipping up the other day. :)

i was hoping this was a sunshine and showers day, with good cb stuctures and dark bases visible ,with some thunder thrown in , but its turned out to be an overcast grey day now with light and moderate rain :nonono: , but we got 3 flashes and rumbles  , so you have to be grateful for that in these parts

I heard 2 distant rumbles as it approached here. Rather gusty winds made life "interesting" as I was half way through cutting down a tree. Now on a rain break until it dries up. Is was heavy but not torrential for a while, now just moderate.

Got a distant rumble from the South, confirmed by the ATD.

Seems to have died now, another better cell has formed over the high peak.
