Can always tell when the weather is boring in the north east as this place is silent.

Nothing much changing over the weekend either.

I'm invading for a couple of hours, it's gorgeous here near Berwick. Better day than many summer days:

Nice view. I'm not complaining about weather as at least its dry for most, if chilly.

Just get bored when nothing seems to change day after day lol

Beginning of november looking really interesting model watching wise, plenty high pressure before then so plenty dry weather bar coastal showers.

May we see an early taste of winter? going by latest gfs run its looking good...

Well out in FI but plenty of strong signals for northern blocking as we head into november and if we on right side of things, the north east could see some hefty wintry showers coming in off north sea due to the sea still warm.

A scattering of showers still blowing in from north sea, a few heavy ones. Plus a chilly wind to go with them.

A mostly dry week ahead for most, few showers near coasts with maybe a blip mid week with more general cloud and damp weather but with that comes an increase in temps.

Felt quite nippy today. Had to stick my hat on for the first time this Autumn!
Will be watching those charts for the start of November closely, a little wintry potential creeping in.

The end of the easterly wind is nearly here (but for how long?) another chilly day with a scattering of showers but these fewer than over the weekend and not as heavy.

cold night into tuesday morning with a frost likely as winds drop, then a general trend to milder conditions for the rest of week as winds turn more westerly.

cold and misty here this morning, once any mist and fog clears it should be a pleasent day, with lighter winds.

Yup looks like the coast is seeing the best of the sunshine so far with the fog and low cloud inland proving stubborn to shift

Charts aren't being as kind for a weeks time today :(

One thing to always remember anything beyond 5 to 7 day's should be taken with caution until cold / warmth get's to t144 and lower keep expectations low

milder feel to the days ahead although rather cloudy at times with bits and pieces of damp weather around. Saturday looking the best day for sun and warmth.

Further ahead... next week still looking likely to turn cooler, but detail and beyond that who knows.

Mild Halloweens seem to be a growing trend over the past 2 or 3 years

And on the plus side it should be dry for the trick or treaters.

Keeping a close eye on that Col, put my winter tyres on today so its just a case of seeing where the snow line will be.

I would imagine with uppers around -4/5c would have the snow line between 300-400mtrs, however with the temp gradient between the warm North Sea and the upper air temps is likely to create some heavy showers that could locally bring the snow line down.
