Chilly certainly this morning, very dry week ahead though with an easterly wind picking up as week goes on it will be cloudier and chilly under the cloud towards the east.

Nice day today though with plenty sunshine and feeling pleasent once again.

Hi n york moors where is your exact location? I don't think anywhere in Cumbria had a frost sunday night. A thin veil of cloud invaded the county and prevented one forming.

He lives in a small village called Westerdale, just SW of neighbouring larger village Castleton, great location!

A bit further south here we fell to 0.8c and the missus' car had frozen over. We also had a nice inversion with fog/mist lower down.

Well another day of the same old weather we have had past couple days, nothing much changing into the weekend. bit cooler, breezier and a few showers possible from time to time.

I'm fairly noticing the darker mornings now though.

Virtually clear sky here but I can see some cloud to my north presumably where your rain came from

It was 11c when I went to bed last night at midnight so was shocked to see the temp fell to 4.8c this morning.

Todays been breezy and cool but felt warm at times on the golf course out of the wind, max temp 14c here.

Anything from a washout and mild conditions to calm settled chilly late autumn days, to be honest anything really.... wait and see

Hoping for a nice frost and freezing fog, weather that's just so uncommon here in Western Ireland.

What are the usual chances of snow in Early November? This Scandinavian high appears to be holding for a while.

It's certainly possible widely by November, though it often seems like Winters which start cold and snowy fizzle out around Christmas and never really get going again

I like to put this video on at this time of year...

Quite a few showers coming in off the north sea at the moment if this was November then they could have turned wintry

Heres the charts for that day in 1992, an impressive Greenland high with -4/5c coming in on a strong NE wind.

In the north east i would say late november to march are the best months for snow depending on situation. ealry november snow not impossible but if it happened would be on higher ground or in the form of showers the more likely.

While out for a run this morning I got caught in one of the showers. It left a parting gift as it drifted away though

Defo nip in the air tonight currently 8.9c might be scrapping the car in the morning if any cloud stays away

Yeh its 8c here currently, and as usual sheltered spots in the North York Moors already at 6/7c. Not sure if anywhere will get below freezing but some places won't be far off.

Sunshine and showers today from this easterly flow

3.4mm here, showers look small but have been quite heavy and rather slow moving.

Some nice rainbows, and now it feels decidedly chilly with sky clearing again.
