Gawd this weather is annoying, it's neither here nor there!

It's coldish, but not white, not especially wet, it's not sunny (for long) and it's cloudy, and there's mist patches chucked in as well.

But there's no mildness let alone warmth. Last weekend saw some decent weather but then as quick as it arrived, it bogged off!

For heavens sake Mother Nature, make your bloody mind up what you want (us to have)!

With the wind shifting round to a west to north westerly today we have a much better chance of seeing some lengthy spells of sunshine

As we've seen over the past week the sunshine makes all the difference to the temperature we should get into double figures today quite widely across the region

Well sadly after a promising start the cloud has built up and not shifted a few showers as well maybe better luck tomorrow

It's disappointing that as soon as the chances of wintry weather disappear, so too do the number of posts.

It's the early hours of Saturday morning now, but yesterday was quite pleasant although it did cloud over after lunchtime. But pulling back the curtains this morning it was fantastic to see clear blue skies!

Shame it's a bit downhill here on in this weekend though ...

That was an impressive squall line which passed through the region earlier this evening giving torrential rain and some hail.

A couple of rumbles from that here, and it dropped from 8.3 C to 2.8C in 15 minutes.
Can imagine some bedraggled hikers over the moors.

It certainly turned noticeably chillier as the showers passed through here today!

April showers in March!

Pretty nasty northerly wind now but it was relatively calm most of the night - rain all but stopped on 9mm

Pretty vile morning here with light rain turning to sleet - looks white over the highest bits of moor. 2.8C currently.

Wow didn't expect to wake up to some snow this morning. Looks out of place in the glorious blue skies

Glorious start here in Darlo not a cloud in the sky bit chilly at the moment but the strong April sunshine is getting to work on that
