Cloudy with some slight rain at times after moderate/briefly violent rainfall with TS, 0240-?? not sure when it stopped, low of 14.4C-rainfall was 61.0mm at 0252, total is 10.4mm

Saturday 5th June? we have had that for 5 years!

 

Dry and cloudy this morning after some heavy rain for a short time overnight and a few rumbles of thunder

Thunderstorm during the early hours centred about 10 miles east of here. Frequent thunder and lightning and a short spell of torrential rain followed by a longer spell of moderate-heavy rain all of which cleared to the north by about 0300 g.m.t.

Since then we've had thick fog and intermittent moderate drizzle.

 

At 0800 g.m.t

Mostly cloudy last night, thunderstorms moved up from the south around 01:00 GMT producing some heavy and torrential downpours for a time. The storms cleared before 0:300 GMT leaving a cloudy and damp, warm night. dawning cloudy and damp and misty. Cloudy and misty until around 08:00 GMT, cloud breaks and sunny spells developing before reading time.

Clear and much cooler overnight with a low of 8.6c. Sunny so far this morning, Cumulus building towards observation. Sunny spells through the morning and in to the afternoon, increasing cloud through the after made it rather cloudy by late afternoon, though with continued bright spells. Very warm.

Currently rather unpleasant with a temp of 22.3C and dewpoint of 20.2C.

 

That's not far off the highest dewpoint I've ever recorded here.

A very decent day here, after morning cloud took an age to clear, mostly sunny this ear and feeling very warm in the light winds,.

 

Temps 20c on coast, a little warmer inland. .

The thick fog early this morning lifted into low cloud by 0830 g.m.t and the low cloud broke up and dispersed from 0930 g.m.t to leave a dry and warm day with lengthy sunny periods.

Heavy rain and thunder overnight, though not overhead, gave way to an overcast and misty start. From mid-morning onwards was sunny with long clear periods, turning very warm and extremely humid. The max of 26.3C was actually the warmest of the month so far and the high dewpoint of 21.2C the highest I've ever recorded at this site.
