Fantastically clear skies this morning with temperatures responding fast and the air pressure is at 1030mb and still rising.

It couldn't be better! :)

A bit of fluffy cloud now but still sunny and feeling quite warm.

Off to the coast for a bit of a walk and maybe fish and chips.

What a stunning day, looks and feels kinda like summer! Shame we couldn't have had this set up a few months back, looking forward to a dry & fine week! Chilly nights, warmish days and mainly light winds with some sunshine, perfect if you ask me and there should be some nice autumn colours coming out. :D

Day dawned clear and cold.  Remained sunny all day with less than 1/8 fair weather Cu coverage.  Currently clear.  Warm day, more so than during our so-called "summer".  Overnight min: 4.4C, Max: 20.5C, current: 12.5C and falling.  Pressure 1032mb steady.

Had a swim in Hatchmere (Delamere Forest), water temp about right at 15.5C.

Lovely afternoon in St Anne's.

Don't know what the temperature was but it was certainly warm enough for me and shows that a heatwave is not always necessary for good outdoor conditions.

Dry and sunny and warm with no breeze suits me just fine.

Certainly not bad for the end of September, especially having such a mediocre summer.

I just need another couple of decent weeks before Florida and some real warmth.

Lovely day here, plenty of sunshine and virtually no wind, that's 4 very decent weekends on the trot. The outlook is a very dry one, not too unusual for September to deliver lengthy dry periods but more normally the case early on than late. Indeed its been the best month overall so far this year in terms of prolonged dry settled weather, inching out April.

Chilly mornings and lots of sunshine should help to produce some excellent autumn colours this year, you need cold weather and sunshine to sweeten the leaves.

Excellent walking weather, warm enough for t-shirts still especially in light winds, and gone are the hazy skies of summer.

Nice to have this settled spell when days are at their equilibrium, it's a little wasted in the bleak midwinter, and a bit too OTT in high summer when temperatures are a little too high for my liking. Need to make the most of it though, this time next week shows Mr Atlantic breaking through.

Not such a cold morning today but misty over the Cheshire plain adjacent to the Mersey estuary.  After breakfast the sky was partially obscured by a sheet of cirrus while a little later Cu infill developed.  The afternoon saw a return to blue sky, currently clear.  Light breeze all day, F1-2.  Overnight min: 6.5C, max: 20.5C, currently 12.8C.  Pressure 1032mb steady.

Sunny all the way here , fantastic weather :)..

Same here, another stunning day's weather.

Another 10 weeks like this followed by a 3 month "proper" winter will do nicely.
