I hope the gossip in the model thread comes off for a warmish settled end to the month,

off work on a weeks holiday and I've just bought myself a cabriolet, can't wait to get the roof off on a drive

into the countryside, not that I'd be posing lol

I'll settle for hot providing its not to humid.

Been before in June and the humidity is overpowering....although the thunderstorms more than make up for it.

Hopefully October will be slightly cooler and more pleasant.

We went Dominican Republic in November and it was fantastic weather, only a couple of short showers over the two weeks and low humidity.

Done Mexico and Jamaica in July and August and it's hot, sweaty and can be quite stormy.

Even had the edge of a hurricane while in Mexico, interesting experience but wouldn't have like to see it head on.

Thoroughly foul this morning - wet and cold.  just had a sharp shower and some patches of blue now appearing. Note to self: must pick up a waterproof container and new batteries for my outdoor sensor so I can keep an eye on how cold it gets overnight.

Another miserable morning, was woken up during the small hours by what sounded like heavy rain.  Currently cloudy with some blue patches, Liverpool ATIS reports 14C

Well, it is the beginning of astronomical autumn. :(

A cold dry night with a min of 8.4°C. Showers now and 12°C. It's the equinox tomorrow morning which is a bit later than usual, this being the year prior to a leap year.

Turned out nice again after last nights heavy showers .

Same here, Liverpool ATIS still reporting 14C but the sun makes it feel a little warmer.

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
