..another near miss - the last one clipped 'Shaw' area and that's only 3 miles away.... some of the showers seem to invigorate just to the south but then start to die out as they threaten my locality but mainly the east of the pennines as enjoyed the most fun and games this afternoon

The cell from the south is starting to move northwestwards a bit so it is going to miss me narrowly to the west!

I get the feeling that once this cell moves to the west of us there will be no action left for here as there is no activity further southeast.

We are in a rain/storm shadow today.

Agree with the above posts - looks like it's a bullseye -  some decent cells pushing up from Bristol.

Just a bit of rain here and some lightning to the east of me towards the hills.

Kicking off here heavy white rain ,melted hail I presume ,thunders still distant !!.

Is this the same line that extends from the northeast coast down to Blackpool? It's insane!

I'm in Cheetham Hill atm, raining now and very dark menacing clouds. No thunder or lightning yet though.

Looking southwest towards Chester, sky black as ink. Listening to long wave, cracks about every second, most of them nearby.

Edit: another rumble
