Jeez, the lightning on the Bournemouth webcam is almost continuous.

Storm must be nearly overhead there.

Distant lightning to my southeast. Do we feel these storms are in line for Luton area. Seem on course.

Keep everything crossed, with a bit of luck, let's hope so lol

Bournemouth a supercell by any chance? Gone mental down there about 70-80 strikes per min!!!!

Dark, with a splash of pineapple and coconut juice!

Adventurous!

Appleton Estate with Coke Zero here (boring, but I can't get away from Appleton's as a regular snifter).

Looking at the radar, storms seem to be a busted flush here so maybe I should be tucking in to some Woods' 100 to really drown my sorrows.........

Strangely the first cell that went over here that produced a few flashes and rumbles produced very little rain despite radar showing reds over my house, must be evaporating a lot?

Rain just started like someone turned on a tap + one close flash of lightning + a large rumble of thunder = 1 VERY upset dog!!

Bournemouth storm is like the kind of thing we watch erupt over the Low Countries, truly remarkable strike rate!

For me in Manchester, it's pretty much all eyes on that Bournemouth storm. Assuming it doesn't die out, it could become be a pretty memorable night later on, for the West Midlands and the North West of England.

I'm sure it'll take on a more easterly element later. I even think we'll be too far west for it here. Hope I'm wrong though!

Pretty sure I've just seen a flash somewhere off the east or south east.

The footage from the Bournemouth cam is amazing, they're getting one hell of a show there on the sea front, strikes are constant.  I'd love to see a storm like that here.

Think that one is deviating NE mate. Possible supercell in the making?
