Of course any of us could still see anything but if I were in Manchester or Liverpool...I'd be sitting up and taking note by now.

interesting returns north of Chelmsford

I'm guessing Anaprop as can't see anything remotely that would cause those returns

Can confirm sheet lightning about every 30 seconds towards bristol channel from west mendip ,nothing of note showing on radar though .

theres every possibility it could kick of later but i,v a nagging feeling its going to be more of a central or northern event ,but still plenty of time ,it as gone very muggy ,i,m not staying up but leaving windows open anything worth a peep will wake me ,but certainly all later than what was forecast .cheers .ps must say that many a time in the past going back years these set ups after a slight hick up could produce later in the night ,our trigger is moving in from the west ,its lurking about but time as usual will tell ,great posts tonight keep em coming please .

Here's hoping we get woken with a bang. The way it's looking and feeling at the moment we may have a completely dry night!

Right I have left Shrewsbury and come west towards Oswestry. Looking at the cells over that way, right now not a lot doing nothing other than a rumble or two. If it kicks off will periscope. Photos incoming.

Chase has commenced (probably a bit early!)
