Cloudy, damp and humid here but quite warm at 17C already and little wind. Looking at the satellite we could get some sun breaking through soon which will help those temps go up quite a bit, maybe 25C.

Was that the forecast, it might clear later, but it might not? :shok: Got Stainesbloke's cloud today, weird not seeing the sun, although it is trying to poke through the clouds. It's 24c with hazy sunshine. Some people think summer is already over. That is like writing off winter in early January...........hold on, people did that and they were right. :ninja::D

I'm utterly drained by all this humidity now. Daytime temperatures in London have been over 25c on 7 occasions since late June and my house doesn't release the heat thanks to several megatons of roof insulation. Cannot wait for temperatures to slide down into the low 20s by the weekend.

Yep for our local on ITV, it turns out it hasn't cleared at all.

I must admit I couldn't understand why I felt washed-out earlier, as it wasn't "hot" as such.  It's only just occurred to me that it's the humidity....:rolleyes:

It wasn't too bad today, quite a fresh breeze to fight against the humidity of the warm sector. A high of 24C today here.

Dreary grey humid muck has returned after a decent weekend, at least the weekend was good for once. Reached 23C here and the sun popped out very briefly later in the afternoon. Quite a strong breeze yet again, hopefully this clag will clear off tonight to leave a better day tomorrow.

Tomorrow looks decent enough

25C possible again. It should be sunny until mid-afternoon before cloud increases again.

Not being a model reader how will I fair on the Norfolk broads for 10 days after Friday. My limited knowledge tells me dry weekend,

unsettled tues and wed then improving. Is that about right? thanks in advance.

Wind has always been a permanent fixture here lol.

Much better day today, drizzle cloud and light rain gone replaced by sun with fluffy clouds.

Well done the 25c.

Cant grumble about this summer loads days between 21 to 25+c apart from the humidity.

Cant see what many have moaned about.

A high of 26C in fairly modest humidity, good sunny spells and a fairly stiff breeze. Another cracking day to be honest.

We have been pretty lucky to be honest, the warmth has often not got further north than the Midlands to be honest.

Well it must one rain one day.

However all the rain forecast apart form thunderstorms over the last several weeks has been next to nothing.

I for one wont believe it till it comes from the sky and not television or net.

Without the breeze it would be horrible in central London, could do with it reaching  gale force :D:vava:

You're lucky you have cooling sea breezes. :cold: :cold:

Rain has really struggled to reach London, a 10 minute heavy burst and that is the end of that. Hit 27c today.

If there is anyone I have forgotten to quote, could you please raise your hand.

Some rain yesterday afternoon, nothing much mind, some in the forecast later in the week.

Today has been very much of the warm and dry variety.

Surprisingly nice day today, haven't seen the forecast on TV for a few days and had it in my head that we were in for a poor week with highs barely scrapping 20C. In reality another nice warm sunny day with a high of 25.7C locally

Yes quite surprisingly nice today, reached 25C with sunny spells. Cloudier now and that annoying wind just won't quit lol. Hopefully another decent day tomorrow?
