Nowt here. 20.1c, 69% humidity, fresh breeze and light cloud cover. Feels fresh as a daisy. Fascinating to see the regional variation even from TB21 above, a mere 25 miles to the west of me.

Assuming nothing gets going in an hour or two, when can we start saying the b word?

Nothing here except a cool breeze. I have Primula spread for a screaming dog and expect no sleep. If we don't get a storm, I get sleep.

But I do love a good storm!

Met office hi-res still showing very heavy rain kicking off in around 2 hours time across much of southern England and Wales, pretty much everywhere in with a shot.

As we know though these events are always nowcasts and most people will inevitably end up disappointed, I'm still hopeful though, give it a couple of hours

Following the lightning detector this evening and it shows the outbreaks are very slowly breaking out further and further east. Earlier it was southern Ireland, then west and north Wales. Now the latest detector reading shows a storm turning up at the Portland Bill in Dorset. I'm starting to think the west of our Region (at least) may see a storm.

Soooo there's potentially something just miles west and east of me that will miss. Top, top work from nature as usual lol

Humidity has shot up in past half an hour too, now at over 75% w/ temp at 20.3c

The red cell is over Crowborough area to the east of us. Sounds quite violent even at a distance.

Just sorting out some stuff the migrate upstairs with dog and primula cheese.

It would appear that everything is developing away from the coast.

So I'm going to call it a night as I have to be at work early tomorrow.

Just as the fun and games begin lol

Oh maybe not then, as something is developing near Shoreham. Hurry up and electrify before you move too far inland
