I can't believe it we were promised massive storms and nothing happened - not even rain. I'm so annoyed.

Grrr. What a waste time of my time. And Grrr again.

I said today never looked favourable this morning, but I got a load of crap off people for "cherry-picking" charts, apparently and not telling them what they wanted to hear... which was violent thunderstorms on the loose by midday.

None the less.. some lightning over the Brest.. 
as William .. has been showing the developing situation there

beaten by alexis.. 

I think it's real, some heavy downpours over that region

First thunderstorm firing off to my SW now over NW France, something is happening and very early so! :)

There is some rapid cloud development Just North of France.. aside from the thunderstorm around Brest.

Encouraging signs in the SW, if that is Mid Level over Brest then Sw England could have an interesting night.

It will be a gradual eastwards pattern I think,  So tonight the SW overnight maybe S Wales,  then tomorrow West Side of UK, moving east, then the East/SE on Friday.
