Now that is a tedious post! Moon? Try moving lol.

Beginning to think I will have to (goes to check lotto numbers).. but wherever I move to will probably get a thunder and snow drought all of a sudden.

That storm over Biscay is our mid level muck for tomorrow sorted then... Sorry for sounding cynical but that's the way it always seems to go round here.

What a great storm out west. Went out in the car to get a better view and it's putting on a terrific light show! Got loads of video and come back now but can still see it flashing away, albeit without a clear view now I'm home.

This makes up for no direct hit this evening :D

But is it heading for us? And will it last?

It is still 20C here right now probably I guess. Could be wrong.

Well the Heathrow TAF forecast says Thunderstorms for 8am to 12pm tomorrow, at 4000ft.  I'd say it's probably going to be a Kent/London Clipper with the majority staying out over the Channel.  Very tired but what's the wind direction doing, I was flying earlier and it was heading from the east.

Man that storm in biscay on cam is brutal!
Some cracking CG's on that mothership what actually appears to be heading directly towards London !

Yup turning into a great night for some :D

Tempting fate here, but, I've just had a notification for a thunderstorm alert.

Still an impressive view from what must be 30 miles away from my viewpoint

Constant inter cloud flashes and also lightening visible, which at times is slightly coming out of the cloud tops edges.

a friend of mine has just posted a video on facebook. She lives in Langley Mill,Notts showing the view of the storm over Manchester from her back garden.Impressive lightning to say the least.

I can see flashes in the sky in Leeds and they don't look distant. Looks all round us. could it be Manchester or is there something developing this side of the Pennines?

Something is happening in or nearby Leeds. I don't think it is the storms around Manchester. I can see flashes in the sky and they don't look distant.

It's actually quite close to Leeds...

Blimey, it seems to be going a bit mental in the North of England and a few strikes just hit East of Edinburgh too.  I'm on the west coast of Scotland though.  Don't think we will get anything now but it's great that other are.  So humid here though.  Enjoy peeps!!! :)
