Just noticed that too.. Its a constant stream of strikes.. Absolutely amazing!

Looks like it could well be a supercell making a bee-line for the Newcastle area.

No no no no!! I'm one officially unhappy chappy, devastated to be missing the super cell oop north!! Why can that never happen down here!! Nothing in Weymouth/Dorchester not even a sniff at a rumble!!

Fair play you lucky lot up north getting to witness Mother Nature at her finest!! How I envy you!! I just go chasing in America next year, if I don't see a tornado at least I'll get to see some lightning

Hearing plenty of Thunder in Darlo but its stayed west of us Newcastle right in the firing line looking at its track

Has this storm veered more to the north east now rather than the more northerly track?  I can hear constant rumbling now
