How many neutrals who so lauded up last seasons triumph will be hoping Leicester get relegated now. I certainly will, that will teach the selfish owners and lazy players a lesson. By the end of Sunday

Wow Ole the magical tactician, what a manager, completely turned it around. United should of won by more, 2-3 flatters Southampton, they were pretty average(I guess Newcastle just made them look good)

97 points only 1 defeat in the league all season and still not win the title..if you had said that at the beginning of the season you would have got more likes from Man U fans than a Steve Murr winter

It will inevitably be everyone else's fault, at least it has the makings of an interesting title race!

league  is over for pool, the rot has set in.

Not over yet, but we need to learn how to score again to have any chance.

Our top three have been poor since the palace game along with Trent.

we need our defence back and this gives the rest of the team confidence. With henderson and fab in midfield the strikers play with confidence too. Unfortunately there are just too many injuries coming and going.

The main problem for me is the lack of quality decision making in our attack - we've lost that killer instinct and the quality.

I didn't like to see Origi laughing after he missed that sitter btw... he's not a bad player but his confidence is low because he doesn't get games.

It's just an incredibly frustrating time to be a liverpool fan atm 😒

I think Jota will breathe some life in attack, but i just hope he comes back in good shape. I blame that tit Pickford, an over rated hacker at best and not worthy of being an England goalie. If you see the footage,  he just took Virgil out, a ploy to take out our key defender.

yes the stats prove your point lol, the team in general is disjointed. It is more than just a wobble as well.

I don't watch lpool that much  but I noticed the lack of intensity   tonight   trents delivery was awful      still wouldn't rule out the title though

Well after a couple of days feeling like I’ve been hit by a bus and now self isolating while I get my test result through,  seeing the mighty Clarets win at Anfield bucked me up far more than a couple of paracetamol could.👍

feel crap again this morning but at least the football result remains the same.

never mind Happy Place Turf Moor, it’s Happy Place Anfield today😂

If your team falls to pieces after losing one player, you've got bigger issues than a reckless opposition keeper.

It's not really just one player with Liverpool though, but it is our best defender, take out Fernades from Man U or  de bruyne from man city and they will not be the same team either.

Yes, we miss VVD, but it's not the reason we're not winning - it's down to the lack of finishing up front and taking extra touches when there's no need for it.

Btw it's taken Mane 4 and a half years to taste defeat at Anfield, that's incredible.. Shame we couldn't beat Chelsea's record but all good things must come to an end. We'll hopefully go on another run now 😝

I can.. This is Abramovich we're talking about - the guy has invested millions in the club and he's maybe panicking they won't make champions league.

Usually you have to win the league or the European Cup to get sacked by Chelsea.🤣 I thought Lampard was a bit of a ball sack of a manager anyway. He is wasting a very talented squad and has an entire Mc Cains chip factory on his shoulder about Liverpool lol.

    I know 😄

The job was too big for him.. He should have stuck with Derby County.

Or a team below the level and ahem 'quality' of Derby.
