Eric Dier has been given a 4 match ban and fined £40,000 after climbing into the stands to confront a fan following Tottenham's FA Cup exit to Norwich earlier this year.

How many neutrals who so lauded up last seasons triumph will be hoping Leicester get relegated now. I certainly will, that will teach the selfish owners and lazy players a lesson. By the end of Sunday

Wow Ole the magical tactician, what a manager, completely turned it around. United should of won by more, 2-3 flatters Southampton, they were pretty average(I guess Newcastle just made them look good)

    WEATHER WARNING IN NORTH LONDON. Massive dust storm hits North London as contractors enter Tottenham Hotspur's Trophy room;

LOL poor decision again by VAR against Tottenham. Apart from that Spurs are terrible.

Good goal for Greenwood but the defence did sort of say here's a straight line into the net.

I thought VAR was supposed to end the sort of farce where a free kick for Aston Villa & booking for Fernandes becomes a Man U penalty?

Not when you got idiots doing the Var. If you got Jo six pack of the street he'd do better.

I mean, obviously, the replay clearly showed the defender stopping with no contact until Fernandes trod on his leg & fell in to him. It was a straightforward decision, a "clear & obvious error".

It should of been a red for Fernandes as his studs are half way up the defenders leg. Of course if Mike Riley encouraged his refs to use monitors then we may not have the facical decisions which we saw yesterday.

I do think there is a real serious problem with referees in the PL. The PGMOL are very reluctant to promote refs into the top flight which means you got a ridiculasly small pool of referees. In this country, we got only 17 referees who are classed as premier league referees. I would add there is 4 more referees but so far this season, they have only done one PL game each, I mean what is seriously the point of that!?

Then you got the next problem of the average age of PL referees being too high, there is quite a good number of refs who could easily call it a day or need replacing soon because of their age(Dean, Atkinson, Moss, Friend, Mason and Marriner). Only Chris Kavagnah(who I rate highly) and Paul Tierney has been promoted in the last few years and even though you have Andy Madley and David Coote promoted more this year by becoming FIFA referees(despite having very little top flight experience) , it is no where near enough. You look at Germany and there has been 23 referees and 22 of them have done at least 8 matches and the most the top ref has done is 18 which is far fewer than what the top referee has done in England. This means it's more evenly spaced out and more lesser referees are getting top flight experience which can only be a good thing.

Reason why I mention it because the tight scheldue and having to have VAR has really caught up with the lack of PL refs. They are being overworked, a good number of them are quite old and I think this is contributing to poor decisions on the field(never mind VAR). The VAR issues in the PL has little to do with the lack of referees and more down to the the ridiculas high bar and clear & obvious error wording which means there is too many grey areas.

Mike Riley should be sacked, not just for the VAR debacle but because of the lack of promotion of younger referees from the championship, to have 6 referees near or over 50 and don't seem to have many replacements is ridiculas.

A surprisingly easy win for the Blades with a simple three nil win. Chelsea no threat what's so ever.

Amazing season from your boys and if Chris Wilder gets manager of the season it will be thoroughly deserved.

i though our draw at Anfield would be the highlight of today’s  games but hats off to Sheffield Utd.

A team built on lower league players and Wilder kept faith with them and the amazing journey is continuing. Wilder doesn't like players with ego's and wants players who'll put a shift in. Message there for other managers and chairmen.

Var again offside by a toe nail. How can that be a clear and obvious error.

In contrast to the game against Chelsea a meek surrender by the Blades to Leicester. Back to the none turn up like they were for the first three games back.

It's not about a clear and obvious error, it is factual(according to the technology) and the same precedure happens in any league with VAR. nothing controversial there and united throughly deserved the victory against a poor Palace side with nothing to play for.

The ref is only supposed to be overruled if it's an clear and obvious error which it wasn't.

Like w ehad one disallowed at spurs and it took them about ten minutes of blowing up the image when you get to point of pixel errors.

Lot a about Henderson replacing De Gea. Henderson makes mistakes as well and has cost a few points this season Putting him could cause too much pressure on him. Saying that he's a young very confident player but he may need more time with us.

I wonder why De Gea has gone dodgy. It started in 2018 with some big clangers for Spain. Before that he was one person you'd trust.

Wow... Both Leeds and West Brom should be fined heavily especially Leeds. Organising an open top bus tour so the crowds disperse quicker rubbish, ridiculas but not surprising seeing as it's Leeds Utd.

Then you got West Brom players out of the ground celebrating with fans, are they that thick or something? Barely scraped over the line, no trophy to celebrate and yet they go out with thee fans when the club should discourage it because of the pandemic.

At least Liverpool can celebrate the right away, obviously we know the fans can't but at least they are celebrating winning the top prize unlike Leeds and West Brom where let's face it, the championship trophy is just tin pot really. We don't count it as winning a domestic trophy FGS!

First of all it wasn't an 'open top bus tour', it was a stationary open top bus parked right outside the ground, and the club had been advised by the local council safety team that it would be a good idea to quickly make an appearance in front of the crowd, after which the police could then start dispersal operations hopefully more easily as the crowd would have seen the team, and more importantly seen them leaving, rather than, as happened outside Anfield, there were still huge crowds milling around celebrating well into the early morning. Unless you consider that 'the right way'?

Secondly, there's a trophy for every divisional winner every year, and it most definitely is counted as silverware - what was that big shiny cup shaped thing Bielsa and the team were parading around? I've no idea where you got the idea it's not counted as winning a domestic trophy from???
