Chase Day 36 Discussion - TX Panhandle

Recommended Posts

The team will be targeting the northern area of the slight / 2% tornado risk in the  Texas Panhandle. It looks as if Hail, Structure and Lightning will be the order of the day .....the HRRR has discrete cells breaking out before rapidly turning into an MCS that will move east overnight stretching across OK,TX.

heading down the 287 to Aroya from Denver

That's according to the GPS marker, which has been stuck there all day!

I'd imagine they'd be down in Texas like Dave said in the original post :)

Decent enough day and some of the best lightning of the tours this season from a briefly nice Supercell before it all lined out, pictures to follow from some of the boys who got decent shots.
