It's the least you deserve considering that comically depressing accent those in Doodlay and Walsall possess.

Joke  :blink2:

Oi! Cheeky! It's pronounced Dudlaaay! Sir Lenny Henry will be informed of your impertinence! LMAO

The rain around leic-notts-sheffield is becoming a lot more organised, maybe something could come of that for the North?

I live in hope

So frustrating looking at the radars, all this rain especially in the north and midlands, yet barely any lightning. There's been activity near Cheltenham and just east of Winchester though. I'd drive over that way if it was frequent lightning.

Evening Short low rumble of thunder 23:57 Tamworth Staffs, rain picking up, fingers crossed for more

Brumcams pointing in Tamworths general direction....i`ll check back and see whether we caught a flash

30 odd mins till file available to check

Typical wait all day....and then when a flash does come im distracted by poking the Black country hornet nest

Just some light rain, a few distant flashes and rumbles in the end. Pretty much what I was expecting.

Big flash of lightning in and around Cheltenham at 00.03, another at 00.07. Fairly quick thunder, not far away. Has been raining steady/heavy for over an hour now.

Distant rumbles! But, lightning is pretty minimal.

Ah, sure I saw them out west in the direction of Gloucester but the lightning tracker wasn't showing them.. but now they are there so no longer questioning my sanity.

Go back to forecasting cloudy days, you're good at that

I think the cell towards Winchester has died off. Haven't heard any thunder for nearly 30 mins. Rain has become a lot lighter too.

Reading storm? I don't see it on radar - or in the sky

Small cell between Wokingham and Twyford. Doesn't look to be much.

Just as the storm over Winchester looks to be dying.. one sprouts off it near Reading!

On what radar can you see the lightning for that storm?

EDIT: Flash Bang Flash Bang etc beat me to it.
