Another day another Tornado hopefully. Palmer divide rarely dissappoints this time of the year and it looks like another upslope play is on the cards.

One bigger problem today will be all the chasers from yesterday will be here as well which could make the parking situation mad down on the Palmer!

Good Luck all.

Best get there early with a picnic, and throw some towels over the best stopping places :-)

Yeah, that was my 'concern' too. Going to be quite mad in that area later today....

Chaser convergence aside the formation of supercells is somewhat conditional and will rely on regions of clearing in the current blanket. Having said that WV indicates one of the troughs swinging in from the mountains should arrive on cue and overriding any clear slots that heat and destabilise will easily promote towers.

Note to self - chase next year late May early June as I'd love to see a classic upslope day.

That vehicle in front of you on the dirt track is the StormScapeLive team.
Those cells further south have perhaps more potential with a move into cleaner air?

An absolutely incredible days chasing once again, 3 very close and I mean VERY Close Tornado Intercepts, a rain wrapped cone tornado in the bears cage at 200 yards, then slid down east next to a stunning cone and multi vortex south of Kirk, could almost touch that one, when it became apparant we were about to have one land on us we positioned 200 yards back and watched a stunning cone tornado cross the road behind us.

Pictures later in the Picture Thread!
