A wet and windy night, the rain heavy at times. A brief clearance took place before dawn with some early sunny intervals but it's since clouded over again and there's been moderate drizzle  for the past hour and a half.

Despit the gusty wind we've had lots of sunshine today and thats helped the temperature

Strongest winds I`ve seen for early june and I was on low ground during the peak of that.

12 sycamore branches broke off which is a record.

Gales today great start to the summer not.
