A short, sharp shower of rain and ice pellets yesterday evening followed by a dry and mainly clear night with a moderate W breeze, backing SW by morning.

A dry start to today with continuous sunshine early on and sunny intervals now due to increasing amounts of Cu.

Further outbreaks of light to moderate rain through the morning. The afternoon saw brighter conditions gradually spreading from the west, cool, top temperature was at reading time at 09:00GMT and fell to around 10c by early afternoon, increasing a little by late afternoon in sunny spells. Windy.
