Saw some blue sky, it came from the south, went round me to tge east and ended up in the north. Now as grey as November again. What a tedious day so far, not been above 28 C despite 30s much further north.

Cloud really filling in here now; almost no blue sky still in evidence. Hovering around the 30 °C mark, but I don't think 90 °F is going to happen. Made it up to 31.6 °C in the last sunny spell, though, which is still my highest here since July 2006. :)

Gone very quiet to our south...hmmm. I hope the rest of the day doesn't play out like this. Could turn out to be a painful and boring few days.

Guys,

How about this 34.9C in the sun (which is just poking through)!!

But ONLY 32.9C in the shade. So I make it I have made it to 90F (old money)

First time since 2006.

Too hot to garden now, so Miss Sharapova is sat on my one knee, next to my Davis thermo on the other!!!

Absolute bliss!!

MIA

Hey my smilies have dissappeared. Never mind Maria will understand!

As I write Maria has finished her match, and the sun is out strongly. So it must be onwards and upwards now!!!

Edit - Bish just seen you note above, it sure is a scorcher out there this pm.

Watch out guys further north - its coming your way!

Brilliant, awful, brilliant, awful, brilliant, awful..........make yer minds up, chaps!

I still haven't given up hope of seeing a storm, but I must admit it doesn't look so likely now. Fingers crossed for the next few days however.

Heh, an unexpected period of strong sunshine at around 4pm got me up to... 32.1 °C. Which is 89.8 °F. Oh, what the heck -- to the nearest degree, it's 90 °F. :p

Grey, grey, grey, boring, boring, boring, seems its either clearing or kicking off everywhere else. Absolutely typical

Welcome to our world a bit North of you! Exactly the same. Usual mid level rubbish, muggy, uncomfortable, usual grey skies and of course...NO STORMS
