One of the few days where I've not needed a thick jumper to keep warm, though thanks to the high humidity, does feel a bit hot and sticky. 21*C at the moment with cloudy skies and the odd bit of rain.

Mostly cloudy this morning with a few odd brighter spells. Fairly mild at the moment with the temperature approaching 13*C. Not much in the way of a strong North-Westerly breeze here (which I'm quite glad about).

What is it with the word washout? not much really unless we are in for it all day like an event that is spoiled by constant heavy rain

Looking at the forecast washout is not the word i would use.

Saturday/Patchy light rain during the morning with showers for some during the afternoon and there will be a lot of places that will stay dry altogether.

Defensibility say it's not a washout  :p

Constant fine drizzle all morning here that soaks through everything so may aswell be, doubt it will brighten up till 9pm as always, unbelievable that nights will now be drawing in without even a hint of one BBQ weekend.

Not enough rain today to dampen the paths here.

A few heavy showers withing 10 miles but they're now moving away and the sun is out for the first time today. The temperature according to the Davis on the roof mast is 17.9c.

Yes a few brakes in the cloud now as you say TM, A few spit spots around an hour ago and much less of a wind than of recent days. Its the Rock Festival down in Middleton by Youlgrave tonight so at least the wind wont carry the noise so much... Then aparrently Snoop Dog are hitting the Peaks at the Y Not Festival at Parwich in a few weeks. What a bloody racket he is!

Temp 18.4c

Was at a friend's house in Wolverhampton when the big showers came through today. My wife thought she saw a flash of lightning out the corner of her eye but I saw or heard nothing.

Can I still count it as a thunder day?! :p
