Any remaining showers yesterday evening soon cleared to the south and the rest of the night was dry with lengthy clear periods; the strong W wind also decreased and was a f3 breeze by morning.

A sunny start to this morning but cloud has built rapidly in the last hour.

Showers cleared away last evening to leave a dry cool night with clear spells, ground frost. Turning mostly cloudy this morning, a few showers in the vicinity.

Minimum temperature overnight 3.5°C

A much calmer day than recently - dry and cloudy with sunny intervals, particularly in the morning. Maximum 16.7, minimum 8.2.  Wind light SW.

Sunny spells to start the day but it quickly clouded over and there were showers from 0945 g.m.t until early afternoon, most of them quite light. The latter part of the afternoon was dry with sunny intervals.
