A ground frost in the early hours with a low of 1.7C but cloud developed and the temperature rose later, its now 8.9C with 7/8 CuSc and some Ac and Ci above that

Clear spells overnight, widespread ground frost. High level cloud increasing this morning for a time before clearing again towards observation. Sunny spells and dry. cool for late may, feeling especially so in the fresh east wind.

Fresh snow falling this morning in Snowdonia on the Moelwyns c.2000-2500+ft ASL.

The only lying snow I saw yesterday was on Snowdon (3560) mainly from the falls from last weeks cold snap.
