Been a ground frost with a low of 1.4C, a lot of Ci with a few patches of Ac, the sun mostly shining through the cloud

Variable cloud overnight, some light showery rain just before dawn, clearing around 05:30 GMT, allowing a bright start with sunny spells, cloud increasing again towards observation. Rather cloudy for the most part with a few light showers, just brief sunny spells, cool.

A min temp of 0.0C this morning, just missing out on an air frost but still managing to be the coldest May night since 1979.

 

Now mostly cloudy with sunny spells and a temp of 8.8C.

A dry and clear night but too much breeze for any air frost.

Dry with sunny spells so far today but always a good deal of high cloud. A chilly NE breeze too.
