Most of the night was dry with long clear periods but there were one or two light snow showers during the early morning as decaying showers made their way across the hills to the west.

Currently it's dry, sunny and breezy with snow showers falling to the north, around Eyam and Tideswell by the look of it.

Clear and chilly overnight, widespread ground frost. Another sunny start, cloud beginning to bubble up by observation, feeling cold in the fresh a wind.

Yesterday.

 

Clear and cold overnight, widespread sharp frost. Sunny so far this morning. sunny spells through the morning though with cloud bubbling up, by afternoon it was rather cloudy with showers breaking out across the area, but only a short light one fell here during late afternoon.

Missed the showers here although 1 or 2 very short ones affected between the golf course and here, so very localised. A bit like Saturday when 3-5 miles NE of here had almost 15mm of rain in about 10m with brief hail and TS; here 0.6mm from that shower.

Apart from a few flakes of snow around 0700 g.m.t and a few ice pellets at 1240 g.m.t it was a dry and breezy day with long periods of sunshine.
