Yesterday.

 

Dry and mainly clear overnight, fog forming around dawn, visibility <200 yards. Fog lifting to low cloud by observation with the odd brighter patch. Low cloud began to thin and break by around 10:00 GMT leaving a clear and mostly sunny day, feeling warm in the sun.

It has now clouded over, first Ci then Ac with patchy Sc below it along with a bit of a breeze developing. So I guess that is probably the last 20C+ for a little while. I actually peaked at 21.1C the first 21C+ this year and the warmest day since 3 October 2014. Ah well it was good while it lasted but the gardens do need some water.

a drop of 7C in 2 h here as the colder air moves in. Thunderstorms east of here showing on the radar and being reported.

the storms are developing ahead of the main rain band/cold front it seems.
