edit: looking at the path of the lightning strikes its going to go right over West Yorkshire, if it keeps intensity.

yep, looks like a bust. main band gone through far too early, much earlier than forecast earlier in week. Only showers to come through now, but not much on radar. We'll see what I wake up to!

Only the slightest bit of sleet in the rain in the past hour as it cleared through.

Thick snow here in Morley it's all covered great stuff for end of April west Yorkshire certainly been the sweet spot for snow this year !

Well a fun wintry morning for most. Enjoyed watching the snow. Quite a lot around Yorkshire looking at the pics on twitter. Had a little covering here but looks like some other areas did really well!

Nice to think its only 6 months now until it can snow again by end of October. Its been a lovely late winter blast, enjoyed this week

A sunny start to the day, but soon clouded over to give a light shower late morning. There was another shower around lunchtime, but after it was dry and the sun came out again lat afternoon.

The temperature at 1300hrs was 11.6C, then within the hour it was down to 6.9C while it rained!
