Never expected snow here in Hull. Really coming down. Temp hovering around 1C, which is 2-3c below forecast.

Still rain in Bingley.Must be in a milder sector.

There is no mild sector, it's just that the March sun is too strong to allow the temperature to stop from rising.

Still snow here in HD4. If anything it's settling more now than earlier.

Meto have forecast a lot of rain for tonight, what's the chances of that actually falling as snow?

Crazy how people are reporting snow at a much lower level than people reporting rain.

That's about it for us, about an hour and a half of snow leaving a dusting. It's melting quick though despite being 0.8C and cloudy. Doubt it'll last more than a couple of hours.

Much better covering now, than what we woke up to :)

And still coming down.

Not quite sure why the photo looks so dark. Stupid phone camera I guess

I am at 250m ASL in Oakworth and the snow quickly turned to rain about half an hour ago, temperature has risen slowly to 2.4c, snow starting to melt quite readily with a big drip, drip. Shame as it was originally forecast to stay as snow at this elevation all day. Oh well, it was nice to see anyway after the winter we have just had :)

Just turned very quickly to rain. Got 4cm but that's quickly melting now.

Edit: about 10 mins up the hill (300m elevation) theres 10cm and still snow falling.

Was a little fearful given that Sowerby Bridge aint that far away however it's picked up if anything and the roads are now starting to cover. Rush hour tonight will be awful if there's no change to rain or the gritters don't get a move on.

Frack me.. massive flaked now.

I do hope this is'nt caused by more moisture and a bad sign.

Grass covered here but struggling to cover the pavements and roads and seems to be easing off again.
